The netEffx story comes down to GREAT people, our clients and our staff of communicative and motivated technology experts.

netEffx was incorporated in 1996. In 1998 netEffx purchased the assets of netComp Inc. which did business as ComputerLand of Poughkeepsie. Prior to netComp the company was associated with ASD Office Systems. Many of our existing clients go back to early 1980’s.

In 1990 the company did business as Computerland of Poughkeepsie and began to provide Small Business IT Support Service in Dutchess, Ulster, Orange and neighboring Counties.

By the year 2000 the company no longer used the ComputerLand name and instead focused on our corporate name: netEffx. Our name fused the idea of the “net” and making things happen, “effects”. Now, in 2009, netEffx, Inc. is still the leader in this sector in the Hudson Valley for IT Consulting, Planning and Staffing with big and visible clients like the ones listed on the right.

What is the secret of the netEffx, Inc success over the years and the ups and downs of economy?

There is no secret. netEffx is well known in the community as a company based on honesty and clear communication with his clients. We provide IT services at an Enterprise level but with the human contact of a family based business where the client comes first and where Face to Face Communication is vital for the success of any operation.
